Pol Pot reported held by own men

DEUTSCHE PRESS AGENTEUR
PHNOM PENH, April 12: Cambodia's notorious former dictator Pol Pot and senior leaders of the Khmer Rouge are reportedly being held by disgruntled members of their own Army in a remote jungle just inside Thailand, a top Cambodian military official said today.

It was unclear what such a development might mean to efforts to bring Pol Pot before an international court. Cambodian General Meas Sophea told reporters today that he had received information that some of the 200 to 500 soldiers loyal to Khmer Rouge military Commander Ta Mok had revolted in the Thai border town of Ban Sangam and taken their leaders hostage.
