AMRITSAR, April 12: A group of 3,000 Sikh pilgrims left for Pakistan on Saturday to celebrate Baisakhi.In a press release, Surjit Singh, secretary of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, said that the pilgrims will return to India on April 20 after visiting the Gurudwara of Panja Sahib, Nankana Sahib, Gurudwara Sacha Sauda and Dehra Sahib in Lahore.
He further said that names of nearly 200 pilgrims desiring to join the jatha had been crossed out by the Indian and Pakistan Embassies.
